The recent collection of suspended sculture was inspired by the ever increasing amount of litter, especially plasctics, washing up on our beaches

Marine pollution and litter is an ever increasing problem. I believe the attitude that stuff dumped in the sea just miraculously disappears has to stop. Plastics remain in the oceans, gradually breaking up into smaller and smaller pieces which then get ingested by all types of marine life or deposited on the sea bed. Please have a look at the Marine Conservation Society website http://www.mcsuk.org/ for the problems we are causing for our seas and marine life and the positive steps we can be taking to do something about them.

Sculpture by Chris Thody.

Chris uses a variety of found, discarded and reclaimed objects to make suspended sculptures and free standing works of art.

The suspended sculpture ( please don't call it a mobile)  can be either wall mounted or free hanging.  The works are abstract in form, I'll let you decide what they mean. They are full of colour, texture and form, they need to be seen to fully appreciate their beauty and style. Ideal for people who want  their art to escape from the confines of a frame
